**Reservations Agent**
You are the beginning of an exceptional guest experience. As a Reservations Agent, you will make our guests feel welcome and reflect the exceptional experience the come when they arrive

**A day in the life of a Reservation Agent consists of**:
- Providing exceptional customer service by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously.
- Processing and inputting reservations following the hotel policy.
- Promoting and up-selling hotel facilities through strong product knowledge.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring procedures are followed.
- Maintaining procedures in relation to credit and cash transactions and accounting documentation.
- Co-ordinate group reservations ensuring contract rates are loaded correctly into reservations to maximize efficiency and eliminate revenue rebates.
- Ensure all reservations are accurately actioned within the same working day.
- Assist in Front Office as required, especially with guest check in and check out during peak periods of activity

- Guest focused personality is essential
Additional Information
Prior experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
