Water Resources Engineer Subdivision & Land Development Projects | Melbourne A respected Melbourne engineering consultancy with a strong presence in the land development sector is looking for a Water Resources Engineer to join their team. With a consistent pipeline of subdivision and urban development projects across Melbourne and Victoria, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced civil and design engineers delivering practical stormwater and flood management solutions. This position would suit someone currently working in consulting, particularly within land development, who enjoys technical modelling work and contributing to project outcomes. The Role You will be responsible for delivering stormwater and flood modelling to support subdivision and development projects, working alongside civil engineers and project teams from planning through to approvals. Key responsibilities include: Hydraulic and hydrologic modelling for development projects Preparation of flood modelling and stormwater management reports Supporting subdivision design teams with drainage and flood advice Liaising with clients, councils, and project stakeholders About You 4 years’ experience in water resources/drainage engineering Experience within a Melbourne consulting environment Background in subdivision or land development projects preferred Experience with TUFLOW or similar hydraulic modelling software Strong written and verbal communication skills Why Consider This Role?
