We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician to join our team at Marathon Electric Pacific.
* Conduct tests on motors, fans, and blowers, including setup, load coupling, electrical connections, instrumentation programming, and full performance tests in accordance with relevant standards.
* Document all lab and air chamber procedures, ensuring compliance and traceability. Prepare test reports for internal use and customer submission.
* Maintain and calibrate test equipment, tools, and gauges in the lab, air chamber, and production areas. Manage spare parts for critical lab equipment.
* Provide technical support to engineering and production teams through testing and inspections.
Key Responsibilities
1. Primary Duties – 60%
* Support quality control processes, including inspection of returned products, supplier non-conformance analysis, and root cause investigations.
* Update and maintain databases related to product returns and quality issues. Conduct rework on non-conforming stock as required.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab and QA workspaces. Ensure proper handling and disposal of quarantined products.

Qualifications and Experience
* Certificate or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Disconnect and Reconnect Licence (mandatory for electrical safety compliance).
* Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, sensors, and automated test equipment.
* Familiarity with motor testing procedures and data analysis techniques.
Skills and Attributes
* Solid understanding of single and three-phase electric motor fundamentals.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in testing and documentation.
* Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to fault diagnosis.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
