Job Role
We are seeking an Environmental and Hazardous Materials Consultant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that values expertise, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Investigate and manage contaminated sites, including remediation and risk assessments.
* Conduct asbestos monitoring and fibre count laboratory work.
* Complete hazardous materials and asbestos surveys, management plans, and clearance inspections.
* Supervise asbestos removal projects on-site.
* Prepare technical reports, scopes of work, and offer expert advice.
* Manage client relationships and ensure project delivery aligns with timelines.
* Support business development efforts to contribute to team growth.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Engineering or Science.
* A current Asbestos Assessors License and 3-5 years' experience in Environmental or Hazardous Materials Consulting.
* Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and legislation.
* Excellent communication skills for both client engagement and team collaboration.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills to provide innovative solutions.
* A proactive approach to business development and mentoring junior staff.
* A current Australian Driver's Licence.
