We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Programming, Publicity and Marketing Manager.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving audience engagement and increasing viewership for our network in South Australia. This role involves leading programming, publicity, and marketing initiatives, while strengthening our presence through local event partnerships and digital strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute programming, publicity, and marketing strategies across on-air and digital platforms
* Create and implement promotional campaigns to grow audience reach and brand visibility
* Serve as Executive Producer for key local broadcast events and special productions
* Leverage on-air talent and personalities to enhance audience engagement
* Manage public relations activities, including media communications and stakeholder engagement
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with Adelaide-based events and organisations
* Analyse ratings, audience data, and market trends to inform strategy and decision-making
* Lead a small team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation
* Collaborate with internal departments and national teams to ensure alignment and consistency
* Drive long-term strategies to grow our market position and impact within the South Australian community
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience in television programming, marketing, publicity, or related fields
* Strong leadership and team management capabilities
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Experience in content strategy, promotions, or event production
* Confidence in analysing data and trends to drive performance
* An established network within the South Australian media or events landscape
* Experience working with on-air talent or high-profile personalities
* A creative mindset and strong project management abilities
* Solid understanding of digital and social media platforms
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
