This role will work for Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV), who are the primary commercial vehicle distribution and servicing centres for Volvo Trucks and Buses, Mack Trucks and UD Trucks. What you will do At VCV Brisbane South, our Service Advisors are key to the success of our VCV dealerships, and we pride ourselves on our quick and high quality customer service.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Scheduling service appointments and organising service work schedulesHandling customer service related queries - via phone, email or in personEnsuring customers are signing repair orders to authorise repairsConfirming Volvo Technicians have completed repair order information to the appropriate standardCompleting customer invoicing, warranty invoicing and internal invoicingRaising purchase orders and liaising with subcontractorsLiaising with customers in relation to job status updates, variances to quoted pricing and credit limitsEnsuring vehicles are presented back to customers in acceptable condition and all repairs have been explained. Your future team Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor and through to the Workshop Manager, the VCV Brisbane South team of roughly 100 is made up of Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Trades Assistants, Apprentices, Service Advisors and Costing Clerks. The team pride themselves on running a quality and highly efficient operation, in a supportive and good-humoured team environment.You will be based full time at our VCV Brisbane South dealership in Wacol, which sits beside our Volvo Group Australia head office. As this is a PM shift role, standard hours of work will be 4:00pm to 12:00am, Monday to Friday. Who are you? Ideally you will have:Experience in a similar Service focused role, however we would still love to hear from you if you have related experience within the truck industry - administration, invoicing, warranty or technical backgroundsTruck industry experience is advantageous, or similar industry experienceA solid understanding of data entry systems, Word and ExcelStrong organisational skills and the ability to think on your feetAn HR license (or the willingness to obtain one) What's in it for you?
