The Opportunity
Redlands by the Bay Retirement Resort offers a bayside living lifestyle to residents just a stone's throw away from the waters of Moreton Island. As a passionate people person, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our gardens and building fixtures within the Redland Bay community. Working closely with the Community Manager and the residents, you will ensure our gardens, grounds, building and fixtures are well maintained, presentable and safe for all to enjoy. The ideal candidate needs to be friendly, approachable to residents, able to work autonomously and be the "Jack of all Trades" when it comes to maintenance, gardening and repair

Your Impact
* Attend to various maintenance requests to create a safe & pleasant environment for residents, visitors and staff
* Be responsible for the maintenance of all village gardens including weeding, mowing, hedging, pruning, mulching and green waste removal
* Ensure all community spaces are appealing and safe for our community and visitors
* Maintain effective working relationships with maintenance contractors and suppliers
* Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules
* Complete additional ad hoc tasks delegated to you by Community Leaders
* Build strong relationships with our residents and enjoy helping them to live their best lives with well‑maintained areas.
What you'll bring
* A warm & caring personality with an interest to make a difference every day
* Experience in general maintenance roles or possess 'handy' domestic repair skills (highly desired)
* Experience in Gardening duties (ly desired)
* Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you not possess, we can complete for you)
* Valid licencerequired)
