Join our Microsoft Practice at DXC, renowned for delivering innovative solutions across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, Microsoft 365 and Power Platform to businesses across industries. Our MS Practice specialises in providing cutting-edge insights and support to businesses looking to enhance their operational efficiency, adopt transformative technologies, and drive sustainable growth.
We are currently looking for a Sales Director to lead and grow our Microsoft Sales Practice in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). This is a key leadership role within our organisation, offering a chance to drive the sales strategy, lead a dynamic team, and play a pivotal role in business expansion in the region.
Can be based from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and drive the success of the sales team within the Microsoft practice, ensuring targets and KPIs are met
* Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the broader goals of DXC, driving business growth within the ANZ region.
* Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, decision-makers, and influential industry figures, across ANZ.
* Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, while expanding existing client accounts through a consultative sales approach.
* Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with other business units to ensure seamless delivery of consulting solutions and services, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
* Team Development: Lead by example and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a results-driven culture.
* Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets, ensuring sustainable growth within the Consulting Practice.
* Market Insight: Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to position the organisation as a leader in the consulting and software services sector.
Key Qualifications:
* Background in Software & Services Sales: Proven success in selling complex software and services solutions, with a strong understanding of the sales process and client needs within the consulting environment.
* ANZ Network: Extensive network and relationships within the ANZ region, with a deep understanding of the local business landscape, and a track record of successfully selling within this market.
* Sales Leadership: Significant experience leading and mentoring high-performing sales teams, with the ability to inspire and motivate individuals towards achieving and exceeding targets.
* Results-Oriented: Strong focus on driving business results, with a demonstrated ability to hit sales targets consistently.
* Team Player: Ability to collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results for clients and the business.
* ERP/CRM Experience (Preferred): Strong experience in Microsoft sales is highly desirable, though candidates with experience in other ERP/CRM platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce will also be considered.
* Consulting Experience (Preferred): Background in the consulting industry or related sectors is a plus.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior-level executives and deliver compelling sales presentations.
