Monadelphous is seeking a Turnaround Quality Lead to join their Queensland Power Generation Operations on an initial contract.
The Turnaround Quality Lead will be responsible for implementing the company's quality management policy, system, and strategies within a multidisciplinary consortium during a power station shutdown. This position involves working Monday to Friday, based in Brisbane during pre and post outage, and on a continuous roster arrangement during the outages, based in Regional QLD.

Key Responsibilities:
* Focal point for operational and engineering completion deliverables
* Reporting on and being accountable for project quality KPIs
* Actively communicating and contributing towards a positive quality culture
* Providing quality assurance support to the project teams
* Maintaining QA/QC systems and procedures
* Creating work packs and job scheduling
* Communicating job status with the Project Manager, and Quality & Welding Manager
* Developing and implementing quality deliverables such as Inspection and Test Plans, Field Inspection Check sheets and welding related documentation
* Coordinating the management of non-destructive testing activities
* Preparing MDR's
* Issuing Non-Conformance Reports and providing Root Cause Analysis
Requirements:
* Australian recognised mechanical or fabrication trade certificate or tertiary degree in a similar discipline
* Previous experience in a mechanical QA role, working in the Power Generation industry
* Functional experience and knowledge in NDT disciplines
* An understanding of quality systems, processes, audits and general requirements for the construction and maintenance industries, including ISO:9001 and its application
* The ability to obtain relevant information, identify key issues and relationships, compare data from different sources and identify cause-effect relationships
* Well-developed communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
* A motivated and proactive approach to quality management and reporting
* A clear commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
* Proof of right to work in Australia
Preferred Qualifications:
* Australian recognised Welding Inspector Certificate
