Core Lithium has now reached Final Investment Decision (FID), marking the official restart of the Finniss Lithium Operation and the next phase of growth. As we power back into production, this is an opportunity to be part of recharging a critical operation at the centre of the global battery supply chain.
As we mobilise our workforce and contractor partners, we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced people logistics professionals to support our operational restart.
About the Opportunities
We are establishing a people logistics function to manage the mobilisation and ongoing coordination of personnel across the operation. This will include Core Lithium employees, contractors, and service providers as we scale up site activity.
At the senior level, this role will be responsible for leading and building fit-for-purpose systems and processes to support mobilisation, roster coordination, and supplier management. The position will play a key role in ensuring seamless workforce movement to and from site, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external providers.
This is a Darwin-based residential role on a permanent 5/2 roster, 10 hour days, offering the opportunity to be home every night. Relocation support is available for the suitable candidate.
In addition to the senior position, we anticipate the need for additional people logistics and administration support roles to assist with mobilisation and general site coordination. These roles are likely to operate on a 7/7 roster and will support the broader people logistics function.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the setup and ongoing management of people logistics systems and processes
* Coordinate mobilisation, travel, accommodation, and transport for site personnel
* Act as the key point of contact for accommodation, transport, and logistics providers
* Partner with contractors to align and streamline mobilisation activities
* Manage relationships with suppliers including accommodation providers, airlines, and transport services
* Oversee and support site administration resources assisting with mobilisation and general admin tasks to support the operation
* Respond to operational needs and resolve logistics issues in a fast-paced environment
This role will be primarily based on site however there is a requirement to travel locally to engage with service providers and support logistics coordination.
About You
We are looking for individuals who bring:
* Proven experience in large-scale workforce mobilisation within mining, resources, or heavy industry
* Strong organisational capability and the ability to manage complex logistics across multiple stakeholders
* Experience working in site-based environments, ideally during ramp-up or project phases
* Commercial awareness and confidence managing external supplier relationships
* The ability to build systems, processes, and structure in a developing operational environment
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
* Valid Australian driver's licence
About Core Lithium
Core Lithium is an ASX-listed resources company focused on the restart of the Finniss Operation near Darwin in the Northern Territory. With open pit mining at the Grants deposit targeted to recommence in May 2026, feeding the site's existing lithium processing plant, and underground development at BP33 planned later in the year, the operation is entering an important new phase of production.
As part of this restart, Core Lithium is undertaking a significant recruitment campaign to rebuild the operational workforce across mining and processing.
