**The role**
**In this role you will be**
- Setting up and running CELTA courses
- Developing and improving CELTA program
**Other Duties**:
- Working with the CELTA Administrator and Main Course Tutor to create a course calendar for the coming year, for submission to Cambridge, ensuring that face-to-face and online, Full-Time, Part-Time and Blended courses are scheduled throughout the year
- Recruiting and setting up trainers
- Coordinating with campus DoS to allocate suitable rooms for face-to-face input sessions and teaching practice
- Liaising with DoE&TT and campus DoS to ensure the requirement for free students is met, and to arrange observations by trainees of professional ELICOS teachers
- Submitting Course Entry to Cambridge
- Arranging assessment of courses by coordinating CELTA Assessors
- Coordinating with trainers and DoE&TT in response to complaints
- Assisting the Director of Education and Teacher Training with the submission and processing of trainer timesheets
- Increasing course efficiency and profitability
- Improving systems and procedures in response to prevailing conditions, including the procurement of students for free lessons delivered by CELTA trainees
- Managing the delivery of for-profit Professional Development courses for CELTA trainees (Refresher CELTA, Grammar courses, etc.)
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor's degree or higher and a TESOL Certificate
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience
- Exceptional organisational and administrative skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
