Family Time Facilitator Role
This is a fulfilling opportunity to support children and families in need. As a Family Time Facilitator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of children through supervised visits in neutral locations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise visits to ensure child safety and provide a supportive environment for family interactions.
* Document observations and interactions using established report templates to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
* Manage visits in accordance with court orders or parenting agreements, prioritizing the best interests of the child.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, Counselling, or a related field is highly desirable.
* Experience working in family services, child protection, mental health, family law, or family violence is essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for engaging with children, managing behaviors, and de-escalating conflict.
Requirements:
* Excellent written and spoken English skills for clear, professional communication.
* Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays as required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and access to a computer/laptop for documentation and reporting purposes.
