About This Role
This is a leadership position that oversees the organization's workforce, ensuring compliance and effective management of recruitment processes.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies for talent acquisition, retention, and development aligned with the organization's vision and goals
* Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including shortlisting, interviewing, and hiring staff
* Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to employment, workplace health and safety, and workers' compensation
* Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners
* Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional growth opportunities to enhance employee skills and performance
Essential Requirements:
* Certification in Human Resources or a related field (e.g., HR, Business Administration)
* Prior experience in HR, preferably in the not-for-profit sector
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines
