Are you an experienced Site Manager looking to lead exciting commercial construction projects from the ground up? We're seeking a proactive and skilled professional to oversee all on‐site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will have experience on commercial projects up to $50m.
As a key leader on site, you'll manage people, processes, safety, quality, and stakeholder relationships—playing a critical role in the successful delivery of our projects.
* Manage all on‐site elements of the construction process in line with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
* Oversee plant, equipment, subcontractors, materials, and site logistics.
* Drive high standards of safety by monitoring HSE performance, risk analysis, and adherence to SWMS and legislation.
* Ensure quality output using ITPs, Quality Management Plans, and accurate drawings.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and consultants.
* Coordinate resources with the Project Manager and Contract Administrator, including procurement within delegated limits.
* Maintain site records, diaries, labour logs, and progress reporting.
* Contribute to contract administration, cost schedules, variations, and reporting.
* Ensure security, maintenance and compliance across the site.
* Attend site and client meetings and provide management/quality reports.
* A qualification in Building & Construction, trade background, or strong industry experience.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a foreman or supervisory role incommercial construction.
* Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
* Working knowledge of Worksafe requirements and statutory regulations.
* Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem‐solving skills.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
* A valid driver's licence, White Card, and (ideally) first aid certification.
* Surveying experience (advantageous).
