Koala Farms has a great opportunity for a Maintenance Handyman to join our team.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Handyman who will be responsible for the delivery of high standard property services, including repairs, routine maintenance, gardening, and some cleaning. This role varies from week to week and would suit someone who is flexible.
Key Duties:
* Providing repairs and maintenance to accommodation facilities for workers as well as office facilities on farm sites.
* Ensuring property QA procedures and regularly WHS compliance requirements are maintained and continuously reviewed
Skills, Knowledge and Experience needed:
* Previous property maintenance experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to solve problems independently
* Exceptional time management skills
* Good physical fitness and strength
* Commitment to continuous improvement
* Effective use of available resources
* Strong commitment to safety
* Take pride in your work and have a great work ethic
* Australian work rights
Highly desirable
* Relevant trade or certificates
* Test and tag license
* Understanding of the key Australian Standards, associated maintenance knowledge
* Basic computer skills.
