About the role
Binna Burra Mountain Lodge is seeking a dedicated Gardening and Grounds Attendant to join our team on a part‐time basis. This role is located in Binna Burra, QLD 4211 and will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and vibrancy of our stunning natural surroundings.
What you'll be doing
* Carrying out general gardening and landscaping duties, including mowing, edging, weeding, and mulching.
* Maintaining the grounds and gardens to a high standard, ensuring they are well‐kept and presentable.
* Assisting with the installation and upkeep of plants, shrubs, and other greenery.
* Performing regular inspections and identifying any issues or areas requiring attention.
* Collaborating with the wider maintenance team to ensure a cohesive approach to property upkeep.
* Adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines and procedures.
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a gardening or grounds maintenance role, ideally within the hospitality or tourism industry.
* Strong knowledge of horticulture and landscaping, and appropriate care and handling of various plant species.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high‐quality results.
* Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptional standards.
* Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in an outdoor environment.
* Excellent time‐management and organisational skills.
