Base pay range: $48.23/hr - $53.31/hr
Location: Kincumber, Southern Central Coast
Part-Time | 3 days per week
HPA Level 3 ( $48.23 -$53.31 per hour) + Salary Packaging up to $18,550 + Super

About the role
Join Uniting's Wellbeing4Kids: Central Coast – Darkinjung program – a free service supporting children under 12 with emerging mental health difficulties.
As a Senior Clinician, you will deliver therapeutic interventions that promote child-led strength based mental health strategies and supports. You will work with children experiencing mild to moderate emotional, social, and behavioural challenges, while empowering families in their wellbeing journey. Understanding and knowledge of victim – survivor children post trauma and domestic and family violence is highly desirable. This role also provides leadership, ensuring best practice, and maintaining high-quality service delivery.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based mental health screening assessments, counselling, and interventions.
* Develop and oversee tailored therapeutic plans for children and families.
* Support the implementation of best practice therapeutic care.
* Collaborate with families, carers, schools, GPs, and support networks.
* Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
About you
You'll bring:
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Counselling (or equivalent).
* Provisional or full membership with AHPRA or relevant professional body.
* Minimum 3 years' experience supporting children across different ages and developmental stages.
* Experience in evidence-based therapy, case management, and family-inclusive practice.
* Strong knowledge of child and family mental health and wellbeing frameworks.
* Current Working With Children Check and NSW Driver's Licence.
