The Body Technician plays a vital role in increasing store efficiency by adopting a systematic approach to repairs. This involves properly dismantling the vehicle, including trim parts, to identify damage early on and prevent losses.
Key Responsibilities
To excel in this position, one must be highly organized, keep accurate documentation, and effectively communicate with management.
Receiving Vehicle and Validation of Parts
* Position vehicles in production stalls, review work orders, and check parts to be replaced.
* Inspect vehicle exterior body parts, power accessories, and dash panel for any warning lights or prior damages.
* Dismantle damaged areas, including blend panel parts, to identify hidden damages as early as possible.
Communication with Production and Management Staff
* Attend daily 7:45 AM production meetings to update vehicle status.
* Participate in daily 1 PM one-on-one discussions with management staff to report additional damages or overlooked parts.
Scheduled In / W.I.P.
* Ensure incoming vehicles' parts carts are loaded after the morning production meeting.
* Move vehicles to assigned stalls and notify technicians upon positioning.
Maintenance and Safety
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
* Adhere to Company Employee Policy Manual working habits.
Requirements and Qualifications

Occupational Qualifications
