Are you an experienced Payroll Officer with hands-on experience using Salesforce 2C9? We are seeking a detail-oriented payroll professional to support our payroll operations during an important systems transition.
This is a casual / fixed-term contract opportunity based in Sydney Darlinghurst, working closely with our National Payroll Manager to ensure smooth and compliant payroll processing during the rollout of Salesforce 2C9.

About The Role
In this role, you will support the end-to-end payroll function while we transition from Micropay to Salesforce 2C9, with a system go-live date of 23 March. Your experience with 2C9 payroll processing is essential to help ensure a smooth transition and ongoing payroll accuracy.
Working closely with Payroll, People & Culture, and Finance teams, you will play a key role in maintaining compliance, resolving payroll discrepancies, and ensuring all payroll obligations are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the National Payroll Manager with end-to-end payroll processing in Salesforce 2C9
* Review and verify timesheets for accuracy
* Apply correct PAYG withholding and deductions
* Manage superannuation contributions and other payroll deductions
* Ensure compliance with ATO guidelines and payroll legislation
* Create and maintain new employee payroll records
* Update and maintain existing employee payroll data
* Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries
* Prepare payroll reports for management and auditors
* Coordinate with People & Culture and Finance teams
* Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive payroll information
* Manage multiple tasks and meet strict payroll deadlines

You are a payroll professional who thrives on accuracy, compliance, and organisation.
You Will Bring
* Experience with Salesforce 2C9 payroll (essential)
* Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, including gross-to-net calculations
* High attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
* Excellent time management and ability to meet strict payroll deadlines
* Knowledge of National Employment Standards, payroll legislation, tax and superannuation
* Strong Excel and payroll system skills
* Excellent communication skills to manage payroll queries effectively
