The opportunity
Delaware North Australia is recruiting experienced and professional front-of-house team members to join our Food and Beverage teams across our Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and Marvel Stadium sites. With an exciting calendar ahead, starting with the AFL 2026 season, we're seeking hospitality professionals who thrive in premium service environments.
Our teams deliver an elevated guest experience across all areas that include private suites, dining rooms, function spaces and our retail outlets. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of world-class events and continue building your hospitality career on one of the biggest stages in the country.
Positions available:
* Functions waitstaff (banquets/functions experience)
* Restaurant waitstaff (fine dining experience)
* Bartenders (wine, spirits, and cocktail knowledge)
* Customer Service Attendants (engaging with and supporting customers across our new retail outlets)
* Food and Beverage staff (retail and food outlets, minimum age requirement 18+)
* Food Attendant (retail food outlets, minimum age requirement 15+)
Interviews will be held the weeks of 26th January and 2nd February, with induction days in late February and early March, so availability during these periods is essential.

What will you do?
* Deliver premium food and beverage service with a focus on professionalism and attention to detail
* Support the setup and upkeep of our distinguished dining and service areas
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of menu offerings, provide expert recommendations, and accommodate requirements to enhance the guest experience
* Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless and exceptional service delivery
More About You
* Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol
* Food Safety Certificate
* Proven experience in food and beverage service
* Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
* Availability to work throughout the AFL season and beyond, including weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts to align with match schedules
