Job Title: HSE Specialist
This role involves providing health and safety expertise to clients and supporting internal teams. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of HSEQ-related legislation, strong organizational skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Review contractor HSEQ documentation and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Develop and enhance health and safety review protocols as necessitated by legislation.
* Perform desktop audits of health and safety programs and other HSE documentation.
* Coordinate product development and implementation initiatives.
* Serve as a health and safety subject matter expert with clients.
* Analyze processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support the organization's Continual Improvement Program to meet ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience.
