Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service is seeking an experienced Locum Psychiatrist (Child & Youth Mental Health) to support services at Toowoomba Hospital for a well-defined locum block in early ****.
This is a well-supported role with no on-call requirements, accommodation and travel provided, and a strong multidisciplinary team environment.
Start: Monday 2 February **** *****)
Finish: Friday 1 May **** *****)
Daily rate: Up to $2,****** per day
Paid in accordance with B45 Policy
The Role
Child & Youth Mental Health services
Mix of community outpatient work and inpatient care
8-bed inpatient unit
Some outpatient clinics delivered via videoconference (VC)
No travel between sites
No on-call requirements
Monday to Friday, day shifts only
Accommodation & Travel
Self-contained accommodation provided for the duration of the locum
Return economy flights to and from Toowoomba provided
If driving, mileage reimbursed at 37.5c per km for the return trip
Essential Requirements
Specialist registration with AHPRA
Eligibility to obtain a Medicare rebateable provider number before commencement
Experience in Child & Youth Mental Health Psychiatry
