We are seeking a hands-on and motivated Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor to lead our front-of-house service and help drive the Club's food and beverage experience.
This is a key operational role responsible for overseeing service delivery, supporting staff, and actively contributing to the development and promotion of our food and beverage offerings.
The role includes regular front-of-house shifts (Wednesday to Friday) and involvement in club events, functions, and regattas.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead front-of-house service and ensure a high standard of customer experience
* Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver efficient and quality service
* Drive food and beverage offerings, including specials and promotions
* Act as a key contact for private function enquiries and bookings
* Support the coordination and delivery of events and functions
* Assist with rostering, staff supervision, and team support
* Ensure smooth closing procedures and operational standards are met
* Maintain strong relationships with members and guests
About You
You are a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys being on the floor, leading a team, and creating a great experience for customers.
You will bring:
* Experience in hospitality, food & beverage or venue operations
* Confidence leading service and supporting a team
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative
* A focus on customer service and creating a welcoming environment
* Availability to work mid-week and event-based hours
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience in event or function coordination
* Experience promoting food and beverage offerings
* Knowledge of stock control and ordering
Requirements
* RSA certification (essential)
* Food Safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Valid work authorisation to work in Australia
