Field Service Maintenance Specialist
As a Field Service Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our traffic management solutions across Tasmania.
This full-time position is based in Cambridge, TAS ****, and involves providing responsive, high-quality maintenance services to our Mobile Roadside Operators and our Tasmanian Clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on traffic management equipment, including mobile speed camera equipment, Automatic Number Plate Recognition, and Seatbelt/mobile camera detection technologies.
* Conducting regular inspections and diagnostics of vehicles, trailers, as well as repairs of traffic management equipment to identify and address any issues promptly.
* Collaborating with the wider Tasmanian office and the support team to diagnose and resolve technical issues with our systems.
* Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and providing progress updates to the team. You will have strong computer literacy skills and be familiar with G-suite applications, JIRA and asset tracking software systems.
* Responding to emergency callouts and resolving issues in a timely manner to minimise disruption and support service delivery.
* Liaising with mobile roadside operators and other stakeholders to understand their needs and explain technical issues and solutions.
Requirements:
* Relevant technical qualifications in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
* Extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of traffic management equipment or similar industrial systems.
* 3-5 years of traffic management equipment maintenance experience would be highly regarded.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with Mobile Roadside Operators and other stakeholders.
* A valid driver's licence and the willingness to travel intra-state to various sites as required.
* A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
* Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
