About the role
Plaza Dental is seeking preferable an experienced Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team in Mount Pleasant, QLD. Inexperienced candidates are also welcome to apply. This role is an integral part of our practice, providing essential support to our dental professionals and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. Opportunities available for Full Time & Casual.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting dentists during procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments.
* Greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records and accounts
* Ensuring the dental clinic is well-stocked with necessary supplies and materials
* Promoting excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming, professional environment
* Completing administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering phone inquiries
What we're looking for
* Minimum 1 year of experience as a dental assistant is preferred but training will be provided if inexperienced candidates are successful.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to juggle various responsibilities
* Proficient in the use of dental equipment and software
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Passionate about delivering high-quality patient care
