Cummins is offering a unique opportunity to Accounting Students to gain skills and knowledge while working full time commencing 27th January 2025. This is a 13-month, full time or part time, paid placement and the successful candidate will be required to defer their studies for the duration of the program.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will make an impact and gain experience in the following ways:
* Working Capital management through understanding the end-to-end process of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Intercompany.
* Provide assistance with accounting month end activities and fixed asset accounting
* Assist in the development and review of internal controls to ensure the enterprise and its business units are in compliance
* Carry out internal/external reporting and general operational accounting
* Identify needs and opportunities for process improvements
* Provide accounting support and financial analysis for Business Leaders.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this undergraduate internship, it is essential that you:
* Are currently studying a Bachelor degree Majoring in Accounting
* Have between 1 and 8 units of study left to complete of your undergraduate degree as of January 2025
* Are available for the full 13 months and be willing to defer your studies for that duration.
