A Journey of Co-Creation
As a founding Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our vision to life. You will work collaboratively with a passionate, dedicated team to design and implement a high-quality, inquiry-based curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
We are looking for both Early Childhood Teachers to join our team.
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be a pedagogical leader, guiding the development and implementation of our educational program. You will mentor and support your colleagues, foster a culture of reflective practice, and build strong, authentic relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and implementation of a dynamic, child-centred curriculum that reflects the principles of Reggio Emilia and inquiry-based learning.
* Mentor and support a team of educators, fostering a collaborative and reflective professional learning community.
* Make learning visible through rich and meaningful documentation.
* Build strong partnerships with families, recognising them as the child's first and most important teachers.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the school's educational philosophy and practice.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor or Master of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
* A deep understanding of the Reggio Emilia philosophy, inquiry-based learning, the EYLF, and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
* Proven experience in a leadership or mentoring role is highly desirable.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to lifelong learning.
