- The role you would play
- We are seeking a pro-active and self-motivated Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment of all the buildings at The Salvation Army Bendigo and Eaglehawk, including the Bendigo Community Services Building, Cafe, Food Pantry, Shelter Shed, Worship Centre, Workshop, Gardens Toilet, Bridge Building and Thrift Shop.
- You will successfully
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the bathrooms, common areas and offices
- Observe all Covid 19 recommended personal and cleaning practices as documented by DHHS
- Ensure chemicals and other domestic products are stored safely and securely to meet the relevant MSDS guidelines
- Ensure containers and dispensers are replenished and functional at all times
- This is a part-time position, 15 hours per week located at Bendigo and Eaglehawk Corps (majority of cleaning at Bendigo)

- What we're looking for
- An appreciation of and the ability and willingness to promote and support the values and ethos of The Salvation Army.
- Minimum 12 months' experience cleaning, and desirable to have worked within a Community Sector
- Relevant qualification and/or experience in Hygiene and Cleaning materials and methods.
- Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) regulation and storage of chemicals.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as in a team and with minimum supervision
- Physical ability to undertake all cleaning duties
- Confidentiality in case of conversations overheard or documents sighted.
- Be able to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
- Valid and current VIC Driver's License
