DETAILS Start Date: 6 May 2025 End Date: 25 May 2025 Roster: Monday to Friday, rotating morning and afternoon shifts Note: May include additional shifts as operationally required Hours: Up to 80 hours per fortnight (overtime applies beyond 80 hours p.f.) About the Acute Care Team (ACT) The Acute Care Team is the frontline service for public mental health support in the Mackay region, operating 24/7. The team provides triage, urgent assessment, and referral to internal services (community mental health, alcohol and drug services) or external providers such as GPs or other support services. MANDATORY CERTIFICATES & EXPERIENCE - BLS -Mental health case management and triage experience -Mental health acute care or crisis care experience -Competent in completing an ECG -Ability to provide intramuscular injections - Medications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) - Updated immunisation & serology evidence *Additional mandatory training may be requested by the health service* To Apply By clicking on 'Apply Now' you will register your interest to work.
