About the Role
Bayside Care and Support is looking for a customer focused Rostering Officer to support Council's expanding aged care service.
Responsibilities
* Overseeing the development and maintenance of permanent and operating rosters for a geographical team of support workers and ensuring they reflect client agreed services.
* Providing leadership and support to a Rostering Support Officer who assists in the provision of excellent customer service through responding to telephone calls and providing a positive experience in all interactions with clients and staff.
* Provision of excellent customer service and inputting accurate information into the client management system.
Key Selection Criteria
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working in rostering services within a large organisation.
* Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate with older people, people with disabilities and their carers.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and foster relationships with remote staff.
* Intermediate competency in the use of client management databases, various technology systems and tools, including Microsoft Office suite. Experience using an aged care client management and roster system would be well regarded.
* An understanding of the needs and issues affecting older people, people with disabilities and their carers.
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Mandatory pre‐employment requirements
* Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check.
* Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check.
