NDIS Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NDIS Support Specialist to join our team. As an NDIS Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide individualised support to participants in accordance with their NDIS plans and goals.
* To assist participants with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
* To facilitate participation in community activities, social events, and leisure pursuits.
* To maintain accurate records of participant progress and develop strategies to enhance their independence and well-being.
* To work collaboratively with other professionals, including healthcare providers, therapists, and family members, to ensure comprehensive support services.
* To communicate effectively with participants, families, and stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making and optimal outcomes.
* To stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in disability support to ensure the highest standard of care.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
* Experience working in the disability sector, preferably with individuals with complex needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications relevant to the role.
* Current driver's license and willingness to use personal vehicle for work-related purposes (if required).
