As we continue to expand our digital footprint, we're seeking an Amazon & Marketplace Lead to take charge of our marketplace strategy and execution, ensuring our brands stand out and thrive across ANZ.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven leader to own and scale our Amazon and marketplace channels. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, sales, and digital execution, with full responsibility for performance, profitability, and growth.
You'll work closely with our marketing, product, and logistics teams, leveraging both creative and data-driven strategies to deliver best-in-class marketplace execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Build and execute the Amazon and marketplace growth strategy, aligned with ZEN's commercial objectives.
Develop annual and quarterly channel plans, sales targets, and promotional calendars.
Identify new category, product, and market opportunities.
Partner with brand, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure flawless digital readiness for product launches.
Commercial Performance
Manage the P&L for Amazon and other marketplaces.
Deliver accurate sales forecasting, pricing, and promotional planning.
Optimise traffic, conversion, and ASIN performance using data insights.
Monitor competitor activity and platform algorithm changes.
Operational Excellence
Oversee listing health, A+ content, and SEO optimisation.
Manage Amazon advertising campaigns (Sponsored Ads, DSP) in partnership with agency and internal stakeholders.
Resolve operational issues and ensure compliance with marketplace policies.
Collaborate with supply chain teams on forecasting, fulfilment, and stock availability.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Align marketplace priorities with regional sales and brand managers.
Present performance updates and insights to senior leadership.
Be the internal expert on Amazon and marketplace opportunities.
Skills & Experience
5+ years' experience managing Amazon (Seller Central and/or Vendor Central) and marketplaces.
Proven commercial track record of driving growth and profitability.
Strong analytical skills, with confidence in sales forecasting and reporting.
Proficient in Amazon tools (Helium10, Brand Analytics, Ads Manager).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Experience with premium or high-consideration consumer products is highly regarded.
