About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
* Assisting with the administrative requirements of a busy Learning Support department (including, but not limited to, engage entries, roll marking, NCCD uploads, PLSP documentation management, Timetabling support).
* Supporting/supervising students with diverse learning needs within the environment of the Learning Support Student Centre.
* Improving student learning outcomes by providing support and advice on supporting students with diverse learning needs.
* Report to/liaise with Support Teachers: Inclusive Education and Middle Leader: Learning Support.
* Collaborating with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
* Strong skills in planning, preparing, and delivering effective teaching programs
* Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence-based interventions
* Expertise in supporting diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes
* Collaborative skills to work with specialists and coordinate intervention groups
* Proficient in documenting observations, managing intervention programs, and preparing classroom materials
* Certificate III in Education Support
* For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
* Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
* Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
