About the role
Reporting directly to the designated Shift Supervisor, you will operate and monitor steam turbines, boilers and associated equipment. You will be a key member of the Production Team, self‐motivated and committed to achieving targets in relation to safety, quality and productivity.
You will be comfortable working on shift in a continuous improvement environment, driven by systems, processes and discipline. You will be computer literate and able to develop and maintain good working relationships with team members. Team‐orientation, a positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential.
Requirements
* Turbine Operator (TO) (High Risk Licence)
* Full Working Rights for Australia
* High level of teamwork and collaboration skills
* Willingness to learn and develop
* Self‐starter who can identify and raise issues
* Computer literacy (Citect/SCADA preferable)
Preferred
* Advanced Boiler Operation (BA)
* Queensland Open Driver's Licence (Manual)
* Extensive Boiler Operating Experience in the sugar industry
