Pastry Chef - Culinary Excellence
The role of Pastry Chef at our establishment is a vital position that requires dedication, passion, and creativity. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating exquisite pastries and desserts that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
About the Role:
* Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and food service.
* Prepare cakes, slices, muffins, tarts, and other dessert/pastry items to exceptional standards.
* Deliver outstanding customer experiences that meet contract expectations.
* Participate in the implementation and management of our Food Safety Program.
* Clean, sanitise, and maintain equipment and premises to ensure a safe working environment.
* Contribute to stock management initiatives, including stock rotation and restocking consumables.
Requirements:
* Australian recognised Commercial Cookery qualification (Cert III or higher).
* Certificate III in Patisserie (highly regarded).
* Previous experience in preparing pastries and desserts.
* Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant legislation, and statutory obligations.
* Previous experience in a similar commercial hospitality role.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Current Australian Drivers Licence.
