The Snowsports team includes Support Staff, Race & Events and our Leadership team.
Within all roles it is a requirement to hold or are eligible to obtain a NSW Working with Children check (WWCC). Previous experience working with children is also desirable and great customer service is essential.
Support Team
From booking and scheduling lessons, preparing meals and snacks, to supporting instructors, this team ensures every guest has the best possible experience. Roles include indoor, outdoor, and mix of the two. Our support team roles available are listed below:
* Children's Programs Admin & Scheduling
* Children's Programs Assistant
* Snowsports Receptionist
* Thredboland Kitchenhand
* Private Lesson Sales & Scheduling
Skills & Experience
* Proficient use of computers including the use of Microsoft 365 suite (required for Snowsports Receptionist and Private Lesson Sales & Scheduling roles).
* Some understanding of the Snowsports environment and/or Flaik & RTP software is desirable but not essential.
* Time management with the ability to multitask.
* Some knowledge and/or experience working within a kitchen preparing food, some with dietary requirements (Kitchen hand role only).
* The ability to cater in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on great food that is appropriate to the 3-6-year-old age group (Kitchen hand role only).
Race & Events Team
Help set up, prepare, and maintain racecourses for events ranging from club races to international competitions. This fast-paced, dynamic team works across the mountain in all conditions, bringing events to life. Our Race & Events team roles available are listed below:
* Race & Events Assistant
* Race & Programs Administrator
Skills & Experience
* Prior work in and around racecourses as an athlete, coach or race worker, driving snowmobiles or motorbikes, maintenance experience or admin skills are a distinct advantage but not essential.
* Skiing ability higher than a strong intermediate level (Ski Level 7 or 8 – check your level here).
