About The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager and General Manager Food and Beverage, this role manages the daily provisioning of all food and beverage requirements to service GSR trains within budget. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining menus, coordinating the GSR food safety system, and ensuring quality standards.
Responsibilities
1. Actively involved in staff training and contributing to training tools.
2. Update and source new products and trends.
3. Assist procurement, guide purchasing, and maintain supplier communications.
4. Develop and maintain process flows and work instructions.
5. Manage the GSR Food Safety System, including staff training.
6. Ensure food quality standards, stock receipt processes, sampling, and specification management.
7. Maintain the POS system REVEL and support stock control and ordering through COUPA.
GSR Food Safety System & HACCP
1. Gather, sort, file, and report on food handling activities, providing educational support on safe handling.
2. Maintain inventory systems and procedures.
3. Lead, coach, and guide staff on the Food Safety Plan.
4. Manage data flow and ensure compliance with food safety legislation.
5. Conduct internal audits and coordinate activities within the food safety plan.
6. Handle stock quality issues as per HACCP plan.
7. Participate in the Better Beyond project scope.
About You
Qualifications in Food Science or related field preferred. Experience with accredited food safety systems essential. Attributes include strong empathy, excellent communication, proficiency in MS Office, team orientation, attention to detail, project management skills, and organizational ability within strict timelines. Must be dynamic, motivated, and innovative.
