Mine Planning Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Mine Planning Engineer to join our team in the Gulf of Carpentaria.
The role involves detailed planning and stakeholder engagement, process ownership, data reconciliation and resource optimisation, and OEF sequencing and construction methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop daily and weekly schedules aligned to the monthly mine plan and targets.
* Act as process owner for short-term overburden placement facility (OEF) design and inspection processes.
* Manage weekly data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance with business needs.
* Provide expertise on OEF sequencing and construction methodologies.
About You:
* You should have a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining or similar relevant tertiary qualification.
* You should have a minimum of three years' experience in open-pit metalliferous mining operations.
* You should have demonstrated knowledge of mining engineering systems, mine design, and scheduling.
* You should be proficient in mine planning software such as Vulcan or Deswik.
* You should have experience with overburden emplacement facility management.
