Independent Timber Supplies are a WA business that is locally owned and been operating for over 30 years. We service a range of Project Builders, Custom Builders and Owner Builders with our timber supply and Manufacturing of prefab frames and trusses in the Western Australian building market.
Your good work ethic is as important as your good sense of humour!
We are seeking an energetic and results driven Leading Hand or Team Leader to maximise our team’s potential through the effective leadership. This role will offer you the chance to take on a range of skills with the growth space in prefab frames and trusses along with being able to showcase your people skills.
About the role:
* Support the Manufacturing Supervisor in day-to-day targets and deadlines with all teams on site.
* Lead the assembly, logistics, inventory, and people in line with company values and goals.
* Be the champion of a safe work site, upholding high standards in work practice and awareness – Lead by example.
* Well organised and attention to detail.
To Successful you will need:
* Forklift licence- Current
* Willingness to Drug and Alcohol testing prior to employment and understanding during employment random testing is conducted.
* Be able to demonstrate at interview experience in Leading a team.
* Wanting a long-term employment with the desire to learn, grow and develop.
* Be able to work Fulltime hours- Monday to Friday – 6am to 2.30pm for above award rates!
