Postdoctoral Research Fellow Role
The Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology at the University of Adelaide invites applications for a dynamic full-time research position.
This five-year role offers a unique opportunity to work within a supportive research team conducting innovative field-based weed science research to support sustainable management of herbicide resistant weeds.
As a key member of the Weed Management Initiative, you will collaborate with researchers from other organisations, farming systems groups, or with farmers to generate impactful findings that inform best practices in agriculture.
* The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Weed Science, Agricultural Science or related discipline with demonstrated skills in field experimentation, statistical analysis, and collaborative research.
This position requires travel to research sites across southern Australia and participation in national collaborative projects.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
* Ph.D. in Weed Science, Agricultural Science or related discipline
* Knowledge and experience in conducting field experimentation
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with researchers and farmers
* Ability to use statistical methods to analyse field data
