Job Title: Advanced Healthcare Specialist
The Recovery and Partnerships Intellectual, Developmental Disability Mental Health Service is a specialist community-based service that provides healthcare to young people and adults with intellectual disability, autism, and congenital neurocognitive conditions.
This position plays a vital role in the team by delivering advanced level discipline-specific mental health assessments, formulations, and interventions to support individuals with complex neurodevelopmental conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality care through advanced level discipline-specific mental health assessments, formulations, and interventions.
* Contribute to the development, evaluation, and implementation of the Model of Service Delivery for the IDD Recovery and Partnerships Team.
* Represent the IDD Recovery and Partnerships Team through collaboration with government and non-government agencies.
As an Advanced Healthcare Specialist, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide effective and timely care coordination and discharge planning. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with intellectual disability, autism, or congenital neurocognitive conditions. They must be able to provide ethical decision-making and lead the service towards achieving best practice standards in IDD and mental health.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Master's degree in nursing or relevant field
* Experience working with individuals with intellectual disability, autism, or congenital neurocognitive conditions
