Australian Venue Co is on the hunt for a versatile Tournant Chef to join our Rockhampton & Yeppoon team.
You'll rotate across three recently refreshed venues: Leichhardt Hotel (is back and bigger than ever), Berserker Tavern (revitalised with a modern, family-friendly feel), and The Strand in Yeppoon (a coastal gem with a refreshed dining experience).
Each venue has had a new lease on life, offering you the chance to keep things fresh in your career too.
The Role
As a Tournant Chef, you'll be the adaptable all-rounder – confident across every section, stepping in where needed, and ensuring quality remains high no matter the venue.
What You'll Do
Run any section of the kitchen with consistency and flair
Adjust quickly to different teams, kitchens, and menus
Support Head Chefs in leading shifts and mentoring juniors
Maintain food quality, cost control, and compliance standards
About You
Strong chef experience across multiple sections
Leadership, organisation, and adaptability
Positive, team-driven, and calm under pressure
