About The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic Cold Larder Cook / Catering Assistant to join our vibrant team at one of Gather by Cater Care's leading university education sites in Bedford Park. You'll prepare fresh, delicious meals and cold larder items, support daily service, and be part of a friendly, supportive team.

On-site parking available, close to Flinders Train Station
Start Date:
Early February 2026
Roster:
Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 1:30pm, term-time only with a long summer break
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with daily food preparation and meal service
* Assemble salads, sandwiches, and cold dishes with care and consistency
* Provide warm, professional customer service
* Support catering for school functions, events, and meetings
* Wash dishes and maintain hygiene across kitchen and dining spaces
* Uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards
About You
Desired Skills and Experience
* Experience in kitchen assistance, cold larder work, food prep and/or customer service
* Experience in education or high-volume environments (highly desirable)
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* High standards of presentation and personal hygiene
* Reliable, adaptable, and able to stay composed during busy service periods
