About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Wholesale Buyer/Valuer to join the team on a full-time basis in Warwick Farm.
The successful candidate will call on and build relationships with automotive dealers, leasing companies, attend auctions/motor vehicle tenders and monitor online websites such as carsales.com.au, social media sites and other relevant publications.
Responsibilities
Valuing vehicles offered for trade in
Arranging direct purchase of stock to meet the trading needs of the used car sales centres
Ensure online valuation leads are actioned
Support retail sites by achieving monthly vehicle acquisition targets
Ensure suitable stock mix is available
Maintain strong relationships with the team
Provide supporting documentation for all deals within approved timeframes
Requirements for the role will involve the following
Previous experience working in a purchasing team
Good knowledge of purchasing, commercial understanding, and cost breakdown
Valid driver's licence
Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships
