We're looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to craft and execute targeted communications that guide consumers through their new-car journey. This is a hands-on role for someone who can translate strategy into smart, effective messaging across digital, web, email, content, and partner channels.
About the role
As our Marketing Communications Specialist, you'll be responsible for shaping how CarExpert speaks to consumers across every stage of their journey, from discovery and comparison to enquiry and purchase.
You'll create clear, compelling, and helpful communications that strengthen trust, improve engagement, and drive traffic and leads to our marketplace and buying services.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, loves crafting high-quality content, and is comfortable owning execution end-to-end.
What you'll do
* Write and refine marketing copy including emails, lead nurture sequences, UX copy, product updates, banners, CTAs, and in-platform messaging.
* Develop and execute targeted marketing communications across email, web copy, social, and in-platform placements that support the consumer journey.
* Support campaign development with consumer-focused messaging, value propositions, and copy across digital placements.
* Build and manage communication journeys that guide consumers from awareness through to enquiry and purchase.
* Work closely with product, editorial, partnerships and the rest of the Marketing team to ensure communications are consistent, timely, and effective.
* Support PR, research, and thought-leadership content with clear narrative structures and messaging support.
* Use analytics and insights to refine messaging and improve conversion and engagement across touchpoints.
* Maintain our brand voice across every piece of communication.
* Be hands-on with execution, from writing copy to building assets, coordinating with designers, and pushing campaigns live.
About you
You're an exceptional communicator who loves clear messaging, structured journeys, and content that genuinely helps the consumer. You're hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines at pace.
We'd love you to bring:
* 5+ years in marketing communications, content marketing, consumer marketing or similar roles.
* Strong writing skills with a portfolio that demonstrates clarity and impact.
* Experience building consumer journeys and targeted communications.
* Comfortable creating digital content, email flows, and campaign copy.
* Ability to work cross-functionally with product, editorial, sales and partnerships.
* Data-informed decision making. You test, learn, optimise, and improve.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Energy, curiosity, and a proactive mindset.
