We're looking for an Automotive service & 4WD/accessories sales consultant who enjoys converting enquiries into sales, building strong customer relationships, and helping customers get the right set up - not just selling boxes off a shelf.
About the Role
This is a front-line sales role where you'll manage customer enquiries from first contact through to completed sale and fitment. You'll play a key role in driving parts and accessories revenue while delivering a high-level customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Customer Service:
* Managing inbound sales enquiries (phone, email and in-store)
* Converting quotes into confirmed sales through proactive follow-up
* Recommending suitable 4WD parts and accessories based on customer needs, vehicle use and budget
* Preparing accurate quotes and invoices for parts and accessory packages
* Upselling and cross-selling where appropriate
* Handle customer questions or concerns professionally and efficiently
Showroom Maintenance:
* Ensure the showroom is clean and organised and showcases products effectively.
* Perform regular stock takes and update product displays to maintain a fresh and engaging atmosphere.
* Ensure products are displayed professionally and pricing remains accurate
Workshop Coordination:
* Ordering stock and liaising with suppliers to meet deadlines
* Coordinating with the workshop to ensure smooth scheduling and fitment
* Support smooth workflow between sales and workshop operations
Team Support & Growth:
* Build strong relationships with local car dealers and fleet companies to expand the retail network.
* Maintaining strong product knowledge across 4WD accessories and brands
* Collaborate with team members to support daily operations and administrative tasks.
About You
You're confident, organised and motivated by results - and you genuinely enjoy helping customers make decisions.
You will ideally have:
* Experience in sales (automotive, 4WD, parts, accessories or trade-based sales preferred)
* A proven ability to convert enquiries into sales
* Strong communication and follow-up skills
* Confidence quoting and discussing pricing
* A genuine interest in 4WDs, touring and off-road accessories
* Good computer skills and experience with quoting/invoicing systems
* A team-first attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
* Experience with Marlin GTX is a bonus but not essential
