Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Ltd (KAMS) is the leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. About the Role

As the Clinical Lead at headspace Broome, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality, youth-focused mental health services to young people aged 12 to 25. Your leadership will guide a dedicated team in delivering evidence-based interventions and ensuring that our services are accessible, culturally safe, and effective. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people in our community while fostering an environment that values inclusivity and support.

* Clinical leadership, supervision of mental health professionals, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
* Developing strategic directions and operational guidelines.
* Driving continuous quality improvements and ensuring compliance with clinical governance frameworks.

Who We're Looking For

If you are a qualified mental health clinician with a passion for youth mental health and a commitment to cultural safety, we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate will be innovative, compassionate, and ready to lead a dynamic team.

* Registered Mental Health Clinician with relevant professional body.
* Proven experience in delivering evidence-based interventions for young people.
* Demonstrated leadership skills in a clinical setting.
* Strong understanding of social and emotional wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services is an organisation that truly values its team, and is committed to improving employee knowledge, skills and experience. Staff development programs are encouraged and often paid for by KAMS. This is a highly attractive opportunity for people with an interest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, to make a real difference in local communities.

For your hard work and dedication to this role, you will receive a base salary of $112,556 per annum pro rata + super.

In addition to this salary, you will have access to a further host of benefits, including:

* Accommodation allowance of $13,000;
* Electricity allowance of $1,440 p.a;
* District allowance of $2,920 p.a. (single) or $5,840 p.a. (double)
* Salary packaging options up to $30,000 per annum.
