As the Master Systems Integrator at the University of Melbourne, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our smart campuses. You'll lead the integration of diverse building systems, develop innovative operational technology (OT) solutions, and drive sustainability initiatives across our extensive network of facilities. This role offers you the chance to leverage cutting-edge technologies, analyse complex data sets, and implement solutions that will significantly impact the efficiency and sustainability of our campuses.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Develop OT Standards: Create and maintain data and integration standards for operational technology across all university buildings.
* Lead System Integrations: Design and implement OT system integrations to enhance data collection and analysis within the Smart Campus platform.
* Drive Innovation: Maintain awareness of industry advancements and lead the adoption of new technologies to improve efficiency and sustainability.
* Analyse and Optimise: Collaborate with specialists to analyse OT data, identifying opportunities for operational improvements and sustainability enhancements.
You may be a great fit if:
You are an experienced systems integration professional with a strong background in building automation systems, possessing excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
You may also:
* Have a relevant postgraduate qualification with significant experience in operational technology and building management systems.
* Possess a deep understanding of various OT domains, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and security systems.
* Have significant exposure to key OT platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Schneider EcoStruxure, and Gallagher Security.
* Demonstrate experience with IoT devices and communications technologies like LoRaWAN.
* Show strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract actionable insights from complex data sets.
* Exhibit excellent communication skills, able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Be highly collaborative, with a focus on building strong relationships across the university.
