We are primarily an importing business, but products sourced locally are becoming an increasingly important part of our offering. These products arrive daily via couriers and there are regular container shipments.
Our customers trust us to deliver high-quality branded products efficiently and on time, helping them build and maintain exciting brands such as Australia Triathlon, Campos Coffee, McDonald’s, Commonwealth Bank, Ray White, Cricket Australia, Struddys and more.
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on worker to manage the flow of goods through our warehouse. This is a practical, multitasking role that combines product procurement, logistics coordination, and general warehousing duties.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-On Warehouse Operations:
* Receive, inspect, and process all incoming good’s shipments.
* Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks on products.
* Pick, pack, and prepare goods for delivery.
* Assemble products (e.g., adding canopies to umbrella frames, applying stickers to A-Frames).
* Operate warehouse equipment safely and in line with WHS requirements.
* Perform local deliveries as required.
Logistics Coordination:
* Organise and book all outbound freight.
* Manage daily courier deliveries and monthly container shipments, seeking consolidation opportunities to reduce costs.
* Track outbound freight and troubleshoot delivery issues promptly.
* Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with delivery requirements.
Procurement & Inventory Management:
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with forecasting future stock requirements.
* Perform monthly stocktakes and ensure accurate inventory records are kept
* Maintain organised, clearly labelled, and well-presented stock storage.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in procurement, warehousing, or logistics.
* Manual Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence.
* Ability to assemble a range of products and perform practical manual tasks.
* Initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Computer skills with good knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems, and freight booking/tracking tools.
* Understanding of inventory management and stocktake practices.
* Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Skilled in the use of small tools and general assembly tasks.
