About the opportunity
As part of our continued growth, Altrad is expanding our Planning & Mobilisation function and seeking an experienced Mobilisation Coordinator to support the coordination of people and assets across our operations. This role works an 8:6 roster from our Subiaco office, with weekends and public holidays worked from home.
As a key conduit between Operations, Employees, and support functions, you will contribute to optimised resource utilisation, high levels of workforce engagement, and the successful delivery of operational targets. This opportunity is well suited to professionals who thrive in fast-paced, operational environments and bring a strong focus on planning accuracy, compliance, and stakeholder collaboration.
Your responsibilities include:
* Coordinating the forecasting, rostering, mobilisation, engagement, and demobilisation of operational people and assets
* Maintaining accurate rolling forecasts and lookahead plans to support effective resource planning and allocation
* Creating and managing rosters within HRIS systems, ensuring compliance with training, competency, and site requirements
* Acting as the primary point of contact between employees and operations to confirm availability, future work, and mobilisation logistics
* Supporting workforce optimisation, identifying gaps, peaks, and utilisation opportunities
* Coordinating with Recruitment, Training, Compliance, and Assets teams to ensure timely and compliant mobilisation
* Supporting logistics including flights, accommodation, site access, inductions, and work authorisations
* Contributing to reporting, planning reviews, and continuous improvement of mobilisation systems and processes
About you
You are a proactive and detail-focused mobilisation professional with experience coordinating workforces in complex operational environments, managing competing priorities, and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. You bring a collaborative approach, strong organisational skills, and the confidence to identify and drive process improvements.
You will ideally have:
* 3+ years’ experience in a mobilisation, rostering, or resource coordination role managing people and assets
* Experience working on Rio Tinto systems and projects highly advantageous
* Strong proficiency in MS Office, HRIS platforms, and planning/rostering systems (PowerBI exposure highly regarded)
* The ability to interpret training and competency matrices to ensure ongoing compliance
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* High attention to detail and a structured, process-driven approach
* Strong time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing operational priorities
